Third book in one of the original leaders in Post-Apocalyptical writing

Read almost the entire series when it first came out. Got rid of all the paperbacks after a few years but always wished I kept the first one. So when I saw them on Kindle I had to buy book I (then II and III) and read all three before I tired of the story line. Lots of shoot 'em ups but too predictable and repeatable a story. Reminds me of the old Mack Boland series. Recommend book I to all who enjoy SHTF books but your interest may wain before you complete entire series.
